   One thing that separates POS-5000 from its brethrens is that it is actually a "semi-fanless" point of sale system. POS-5000 comes with integrated heat sinks that provide optimal heat dissipation. Its unique design allows ideal ambient operating temperature even without a fan. However, in order to ensure maximum performance and reliability at all times, a solid, dual ball bearing fan is installed at the side of the housing, which can be easily removed or replaced by unscrewing two screws at each side.
